Polystyrene sheet (GPPS)

GPPS (General Purpose Polystyrene) is a transparent, lightweight and rigid sheet material that is widely used for so-called safe glazing, advertising displays and interior decoration. Due to its good optical clarity, the material is suitable for applications where visual transparency and a neat appearance are required.
GPPS is easy to process using standard methods such as cutting, drilling, bending and thermoforming, which makes it convenient for both industrial production and custom-made solutions. The material maintains stable dimensions and surface quality during processing, allowing manufacturers to achieve accurate and consistent results.
Polystyrene is resistant to hydrolysis, dilute acids, alkalis and alcohols, which ensures reliable performance in typical indoor environments. GPPS sheets are often chosen for display systems, protective covers, signage elements and decorative panels where moderate mechanical loads are expected.
Compared to many other transparent plastics, GPPS comes at a lower price and remains a cost-effective solution for projects with limited budgets.
